Boston based Girls Guns and Glory explores a variety of sonic directions under the guise of Americana and Roots Rock. The band gained notoriety with a 2007 Boston Music Award for Outstanding Americana Act of The Year, a national television commercial for Radio Shack, nationwide radio play and numerous press articles. 2008 kicked off reaching the top 10 on the Americana chart. GGG wrapped up the year by winning 2 of their 3 Boston Music Award nominations. Since then the band has showcased twice at the national Americana Music Conference and SXSW Music Festival where Country Standard Time labeled them the buzz band of the conference.Paul Q. Koldarie (Radiohead, Uncle Tupelo, Lemonheads) and Adam Taylor (Sarah Borges, Portugal the Man) produced 'Sweet Nothings' as a rebirth of sorts. For Ward, it is a reconnection to the roots of rock 'n' roll for which he exhumed influences of the past including Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, The Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and Little Richard. The album, which has songs both quick and catchy about the simple pleasures of life and slow and sentimental about.. what else?... getting your heart ripped out, chewed up, spit out and put back together is a masterful follow-up to the bands earlier efforts.According to front man Ward Haydon, the band has just begun to scratch the surface of what they can do with their 4th full length release 'Sweet Nothings'. Chris Hersch stretches out on baritone guitar and fender six, Michael Calabrese contributes harmony vocals and a myriad of percussive instrumentation, and Paul Dilley rocks the mellotron.

Motley Crue have epitomised the heavy rock genre over the last 30 years, bringing it to the mainstream, and selling more than 80 million album copies worldwide. The L.A based rockers are well known for playing hard and partying even harder, gaining a huge following. This release gathers all of their greatest expanded and updated hits in one place, with stone-cold classics such as 'Dr. Feelgood', 'Girls Girls Girls', 'Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)', plus many, many more. Bonus tracks such as a remix version of 'The Animal in Me' are also included alongside a DVD containing footage of the band at Cruefest. Ten tracks, various interludes, and a shedding guitar solo by Mick Mars make for a truly killer live show! This isn't for the feint-hearted and will be loved by fans of hard rock, glam rock, and metal. -J.M.
