Boston based Girls Guns and Glory explores a variety of sonic directions under the guise of Americana and Roots Rock. The band gained notoriety with a 2007 Boston Music Award for Outstanding Americana Act of The Year, a national television commercial for Radio Shack, nationwide radio play and numerous press articles. 2008 kicked off reaching the top 10 on the Americana chart. GGG wrapped up the year by winning 2 of their 3 Boston Music Award nominations. Since then the band has showcased twice at the national Americana Music Conference and SXSW Music Festival where Country Standard Time labeled them the buzz band of the conference.Paul Q.
